How It Works

Application

  • Upon completion of the online registration form, an SMS is sent to the mobile number you provided in the online application form. The SMS will contain a link which will allow you to upload the required vehicle images such as the interior and exterior of the vehicle, VIN plate, and odometer reading.
  • Details of the vehicle and the city it is in will be forwarded to local Certified Recyclers for them to bid on your vehicle.
  • You will receive confirmation via email no later than (1) business day.

Acceptance

  • You will be notified via email of the highest bid AFTER two (2) business days.
  • You will have the option to accept or decline the offer.
  • If you accept the offer, the recycler who won the bid will pay the agreed funds into ARAA’s Bailey’s Day Donation account.
  • We will notify you confirming payment has been made, and that you are able to release the vehicle.

Pickup

  • The recycler is then provided your details and will make contact within 24 hours to arrange collection of the vehicle.
  • At the end of each month, ARAA will remit the funds received through the Dealer Charity Car program to the Monash Health Foundation, along with your business details.

Reconciliation

  • The Monash Health Foundation will then generate a Tax-deductible donation receipt directly to your business.

Notes

  •  The bid and final offer amount is dependent on the year/make/model of the vehicle and location.
  • Payment for vehicles will be remitted by ARAA to the Monash Health Foundation at the end of the month, and only after confirmation is made by both you and the recycler that the vehicle has been collected
